With just one more day of January left, we are more than halfway through the worst two months of winter. Thankfully the other worst month is gracious enough to only have 28 days of cold, miserable, gray weather to put us through--but they can be some very looooong days.
After our weekend getaway trip was canceled and we got even more snow and sub-zero weather, it was time to act. So while we were outside shoveling on Saturday, Chad announced that we needed to pick a place we really wanted to go and just go there. Well, what he actually said was "mmmph fffff mmph mm ffffff" because he was wearing two scarves over his face.
So we did something we almost never do (spontaneity is not something we engage in often) and booked a trip to Florida. We leave at the beginning of March and will have four days of sunshine, warmth and relaxation and I. Cannot. Wait.
Just one month, and I will be here:
