Hello! I'm Stacy and this is my favorite space on the internet. This is where I go to share all the things I love: photography, sewing projects, and my family with a lot of other fun things sprinkled in.

I have always loved to make things. To me, creating is not just a hobby; it's a need. If I go to long without making something I get antsy. I love to sew, quilt, dabble in crafty projects I find on Pinterest, cook, bake, paint, decorate, build, and just about anything else that involves creativity and making.

I love taking pictures and learning new photography skills. Whether I'm using an iPhone or a DSLR I am constantly finding things to photograph. It is amazing what becomes beautiful through a lens.

I live in a suburb of Cleveland, OH. The Blue Bay Cottage was named after my actual home, a 100 year old cottage located along the shore of Lake Erie.

Speaking of things that are old--I love old stuff. If it's from the 1930s-1950s, I'll probably dig it. I especially like vintage kitchen finds, kitsch and all. Canisters, sifters, signs, tablecloths, pretty glassware--I could spend a long time searching an antique store for these.

One day I want to own a vintage Airstream trailer and turn it into a mobile fabric boutique. Or just decorate it all retro and fabulous and hang out in it.

I am constantly drawn to red, white, aqua and yellow color palettes. My favorite fabrics have some combination of these, along with most of the decor in my house. My dream kitchen is white with an aqua vintage reproduction fridge from the 50s.

Perhaps most importantly, I have a fantastic husband named Chad and we have a beautiful little girl, Charlotte. She is full of sparkle and personality and she makes every day the best day.
